PlantUML
PlantUML is an open-source tool that enables developers and technical writers to generate a wide variety of diagrams through simple and intuitive plain text scripts. It supports traditional UML diagrams such as sequence, class, use case, and activity diagrams, as well as non-UML outputs like JSON, YAML, Gantt charts, mind maps, and network topologies. Diagrams can be exported to formats including PNG, SVG, LaTeX, and ASCII art, with multiple layout engines available to process the source descriptions.
