Vitest
Vitest is a next-generation testing framework built on top of Vite. It reuses existing Vite configurations and transformation pipelines to provide instant watch mode and fast test execution. Designed to be Jest-compatible, it supports expect, snapshots, and coverage out of the box while providing native handling of ESM, TypeScript, and JSX. It can be used for Vite applications as well as general backend codebases.
